I am artist from Sofia Bulgaria.
Although I have always been interested in Fine Arts and dreaming of a career as an artist, life took me to Bratislava where I started my education in Economics and Management. I graduated in Moscow, Russia, where I spent 4 years with my family.
With time I realized that you always have to hold on to your dream and no matter how insecure it sounds, go for it, have the guts and take the risk, because one day it may come true and you will be the happiest person in the world. You just must be confident and consistent and the good forces in this Universe will reward you with success!
In the year 1999 I felt the urge to follow my life-long dream and started painting landscapes of vibrant Bulgarian villages using and experimenting with oil technique and after that acrylic and mixed technique.
For 14 years I have never stopped and as a result I have managed not only to turn my dream into a reality, but also to show my works in many Bulgarian Art Galleries as well as various places in Bulgaria and Europe arranging individual exhibitions and co-exhibitions.
I draw and paint from direct observation, using information that comes from my immediate visual experience. It is the life, clarity and presence of information at the moment that inspires my creative process. For me painting is as much vocation as it is destiny. Although I never specialized in art, my natural talent and intuition reveal to me the right way in my quest as a painter.
Light is the main character in my landscapes, as it is swaying the mood in one direction or another.
I like to travel and enjoy the beauty of the afternoon sun or the sunset and be under the influence of mighty Nature. And then to try to put all this on canvas for me is the delightful excitement of the contact with the unexpected festiveness and power of ordinary places and situations.
